The group Nightwish featuring John Two Hawks is a mix of contemporay music mixed with Native-American music. This creates a very interesting sound. John Two Hawks  is a musican, singer, author and motivational speaker. He has produced a number of CD's of Native-American music.

"Creek Mary's Blood'' is a book written by Dee Brown (Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee) a fictional account of a Creek woman and her life.

I have to say, that I was having trouble imagining Nightwish with a Native American Element, but this really worked for me.

Great link, Kavika, and thank you for bringing it to my attention. I'll be downloading this one.

Boozhoo Al, I wasn't sure about combining contemporary music with John's NA music, but wow did it turn out great. If you get the chance, read ''Creek Mary's Blood'' by Dee Brown, great read.

Thanks for visiting gete niijii

Kavika ~ loved the link

on a side note.....

I have to share this story with you, I have two cockatiels, they are the noiseist, screamers I have ever heard. the ONLY thing that quiets them down is my tape of Native American Flute Music. Indeed the flutes just tame those noisey devils to a quiet pair. The problem is that tape is 18 years old, as are the birds. They like no other, just the one tape and it has been spliced together three times already....When the tape breaks so does my sanity.

Thank you Kavika for the link. It was well enjoyed

Pat, yes you'd better get another copy of that tape somewhere, some birds like that live up to 70 years! LOL

Enjoyed the video, my favorite Native music is the flute songs. Nothing more relaxing! Thank you, Kavika
