On average four Indians died at this ''House of Horrors'' every month. No record was kept as to how they died. No grave markers were provided, the BIA thought that it was an unnecessary expense.

Most Indians sent there were not mentaly ill. They were ''Problem Indians''. Indians that would not give up their customs and way of life.

In the final insult to our Native people, Indians were showcased in a special area of the hospital for the amusement of paying tourists who were invited from all over the country.

Today the graveyard lies beneath the four and fifth holes of a golf course.

I wonder if people that play the course feel the souls of those mistreated and buried beneath their feet.
