The Native American students at Dartmouth and Yale have some fun.

A lot of pure Indian humor in some of the videos.

I liked the first one with the girl dancing and the one with the girl burning sage for her computer.

I was an Apple so one probably has to do that fairly often.

Thanks, Kavika.

thanks for stopping by grump. The girl in the first one is from my tribe. The Red Lake Ojibwe, really proud of her.

Smart, can dance and she has a sense of humor and tradition. Can't ask for more from the young ones.

ms, it is a ceremony of the Ojibwe ''Dragging the Buffalo Skulls''...The other meanings that I'm aware of is ''staying low to the ground'' out of detection. I know that the younger generation has a lot of other meaning, but I'm not sure what they are.

Did you pick up on the one with the girl in the library with the book?

Yeah, doing the hand thing, take back and then when she got it the turn around thing. I'm not sure about that one, but I remember his mom doing that one time too.

I get out of it that the NA's are big on sarcasm and dark humor. Happens to be my favorite kind. Good stuff.

I really liked the one with the refrigerator, being able to find home wherever she goes is a great trait. And as a computer tech, burning sage over the laptop brought tears of laughter to my eyes. That's something I've wanted to try many times in the past.

Thanks for stopping by elpkidd. The refrigerator was a good one. The sage didn't do me any good with my computer, a hammer did a better job.

It was Sweetgrass, not Sage! So funny,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,when she lit it, my senses automatically brought up the scent! I could actually smell it! Never had that happen before! LOL :-)

Was the girl with the library book a satirical take on being an "Indian giver?"
