Spec Gagne is a true ''Warrior''...He's overcome horrific battle injuries. Was the catalyst that changed a military policy and is moving forward with his life.

He is having a difficult time finding employment and a sponser for his racing team, mostly he belives because of his disabilities.

Agreed. Hire people not for that they cannot do, but for what they can contribute.

I was taught not to worry about the lumps life gives you; make them into jumps and ramp them!”

What a wonderful and inspiring philosophy for living! And yes, it was small of the government to deny him the rest of that sign up bonus. His perseverance changed the law.

A truly great story to start the day, Kavika.

That is one tough guy. He will go far and I hope he never looses his drive. He's already winning.

yes I CAN

After reading a story like this I had to turn the TV off as it is garbage most the time and I had to leave my living room and get away from my neighbors 6 hrs of obnoxious music blaring all morning rattling my nerves and I had to relish in this MOST EXCELLENT story and seek more to that level of depth and character. And I had to replenish my soul with positiveness ..Thank you for sharing..
