In 2007 the BLM discovered two large stone circles in the Stinkingwater Mountains of S.E. Oregon.

Medicine Wheels are common in the Great Plains, but are extreamly rare this far west.

The University of Oregon and the BLM are recording the Medicine Wheels using a blimp to photograph them.

Medicine wheels are starting to show up everywhere! Can't wait until they find some in South America.

These wheels should be preserved and protected. Maybe someday more information will be discovered to cast more light on their purposes.

          Were they sports arenas?
